Kids & Youth

We believe that God has as much of a heart for the children and young people of our community as the grown-ups! We work alongside parents to see them become fully devoted to God and have a lot of fun along the way.

Crumbs Playgroup

Crumbs is a playgroup for caregivers, parents and their little ones. We want it to be a place where people get to know each other and have fun – everyone is welcome! Please join us for toys galore, a bouncy castle and exciting song time.
Thursdays 10:00-11.30am during term-time at St Luke’s.

Sundays

Our Sunday morning gathering starts at 10:30am with family worship and the ‘Chair of Prayer’. Children are encouraged to come to the front to join in with actions, use musical instruments provided and have the space to sing, dance and worship freely.

After that we split into three groups, so everyone can receive age-specific content from our DBS checked and fully trained team, overseen by our Children and Families Worker, Isaac. Babies are really welcome to stay in church with their parents, and we have changing facilities available if needed.

Tiny Tots
Our tots (up to Reception aged) are taken to the creche at Kentish Town Community Centre (2 minutes walk from St Luke’s) for play, songs, Bible stories and craft. God knows and dearly loves our toddlers, and we hope that each of them will grow up with Jesus. Tiny Tots should be picked up from Kentish Town Community Centre at 12:00midday, at the end of the morning gathering.

Little Luke’s
Little Luke’s (from year 1 to year 5) are taken to the hall at Kentish Town Community Centre (2 minutes walk from St Luke’s) for games, reading the Bible, craft, prayer, and time to make new friends and have fun. Little Luke’s is all about creating the opportunity for children to come to Jesus, grow in his love, and understand that “the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Little Luke’s should be picked up from Kentish Town Community Centre at 12:00midday, at the end of the morning gathering.

Younger Youth
Younger Youth (for any young people in year 6 and above) are taken to the Arbour Cafe or St Luke’s Meeting Room, for a chance to make friends with each other and connect with God on a deeper level. It’s an hour of chatting, games, and teaching, and Younger Youth are brought back to St Luke’s for 12:00midday, so parents don’t need to come and collect them.

Our Younger Youth also go to other events and trips through the year.

Family Hub
One of our hubs is dedicated to families, and gives parents chance to get to know each other and pray together while the kids play. If you’d like to find out more and go along, sign up here.

We would love to meet you and your family – please come and say hi! And if you have any questions, please get in touch.
