Kids at St Luke’s – Growing up with Jesus.
Our heart for the children of St Luke’s is that in their own time, they grow in the knowledge of the love of God, revealed through Jesus Christ – the one who considered the presence of children as important as his adult observers. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, for theirs is the Kingdom of God” and our hope is that each Sunday, children will gain a glimpse of this Kingdom for themselves. We hope that the children will grow in faith each Sunday as we read the bible, make fun crafts, meet new friends and have fun together!
Join in – Crumbs Playgroup
Crumbs is a playgroup for caregivers, parents and their little ones. We want it to be a place where people get to know each other, and have fun. Everyone is welcome! The playgroup is run by Mums from St Luke’s Church as a gift to our friends and neighbours. St Luke’s Church generously donates the hot bev and facilities so we are able to offer the playgroup at no charge. We meet term time only. Please join us for toys galore, a bouncy castle and exciting song time.
Thursdays 10.00 – 11.30
at St. Luke’s Oseney Crescent
Join in – Sunday gathering
Our Sunday Gathering starts at 10.30am at the church and the children join us for the first few songs and the ‘Chair of Prayer’. Children are encouraged to come to the front to join in with actions, use musical instruments provided and have the space to sing, dance and worship freely.
They are then taken to the Kentish Town Community Centre just a few minutes walk away from St Luke’s by our great Kids’ Team.
At Kid’s Church the children worship together then they are directed into groups tailored for their different ages.
CUBS – Children that are walking, up to reception age
